Frequently Asked Questions

How does Whole Body Cryotherapy work?

Cryotherapy has become the leading method for pain management and sports recovery. This treatment is easy and painless, which is why many people who suffer from chronic pain are obsessed with it. This treatment extends beyond pain management. Lots of athletes are choosing this treatment as their main sports recovery technique. Not only does this treatment work effectively, but it also comes with lots of advantages.
What to expect:
During a 3 minute session at -170 degrees C (on level one, -220 degrees C on level four), blood vessels in your skin’s surface and muscle tissue constrict, forcing blood away from the peripheral tissue and toward your core, in the core, the body’s natural filtration system works to remove toxins and inflammatory properties of the blood.
After exiting the cry chamber, filtered blood flows back to the peripheral tissues. Now cleaner and enriched with oxygen, nutrients and enzymes – your blood warms and enriches skin and muscles and range of motion increases.
Over the next 48 hours, the process of restoration occurs and the body returns to a former and better state or condition with reduced pain and inflammation, and increased energy levels. Recovery times from strenuous workouts and injury are improved and shortened.

How often should I do Cryotherapy?

You will feel decreased pain and increased energy after one session but whole Body Cryotherapy has a cumulative benefit and results are maximized when done regularly, at least twice per week. Localized cryotherapy emits a pressurized cold that gets deep into the muscles and joints to remedy a targeted area of the body. Relief from pain caused by inflammation can take as little as (1) 3 minute treatment or up to (6) 3 minute treatments.

What does LED Light Therapy (PBM) treat?

Light induces a complex chain of physiological reactions in diseased and damaged tissues to accelerate wound healing and tissue regeneration, increase circulation, reduce acute inflammation, reduce acute and chronic pain and help restore normal cellular function. Interestingly, recent research indicates that light can enhance performance in normal tissues and cells.
